Food Waste, The Next 25 Years

Interview with Jamie Crummie, co-founder Too Good To Go

Too Good To Co-Founder Jamie Crummie shares his vision for the next 25 years and how the food waste problem can be solved.
In the next 25 years, a growing population is expected to reach 9 billion people by 2050. One-third of the food produced today is wasted. Too Good To Go wants to ensure that food produced is food consumed so that no increase in food production is needed. More food production is likely to lead to more environmental challenges like deforestations and aggressive farming.
Too Good To Go is planning a massive educational project allowing people to see the scale of the food waste issue. Too Good To Go aims to become synonymous with sustainability in particular with the food waste movement. The startup aims to be truly global, not just in Europe to bring about positive and meaningful change.
