From plastic recycling machines that reward you with shopping vouchers, to smart toilet signs reminding you how long anything you might consider throwing into the toilet, will take to compose, Marevivo has been educating on protecting the marine environment since 1985

All the activities Marevivo  carries out – in matters of biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, enhancement and promotion of marine protected areas, environmental education, in combating pollution and illegal fishing - aim on one hand to press the institutions commitment and on the other hand to increase the attention and the involvement of public opinion and media towards the preservation of that common precious good that is our sea.

Aware that the sea protection is strictly linked to the attention of an increasing number of citizens and institutions, Marevivo has identified in the educational activities a tool to involve different stakeholders: local authorities, schools, families, citizens but also categories of workers closely related to the sea as fishermen, tour, bathing and diving operators etc.

Marevivo’s actions are characterized by a fair balance between environmental protection and economic and social development, and by proactive positions in line with its mission.
