Interview Jamie Crummie, Co-Founder - Too Good To Go

We interviewed Co Founder Jamie Crummie because the App Too Good To Go is a smart solution helping to change the public’s behaviour around food waste. Surplus food of restaurants, hotels, bars, supermarkets, venue spaces, and more are sold within the app at a reduced rate instead of being thrown away. 30,747,560 Meals have been saved globally with Too Good To Go saving the planet from 76,869 Tonnes of CO2.

In the UK, Too Good To Go started in June 2016. They have built an incredible community of over 2,508,796 Waste Warriors saving food from more than 3,200 partner stores across the country.

Here is how Jamie introduces Too Good To Go

“In the Uk alone we are throwing away 600,000 tons of food each year which is a mammoth amount of food we cannot really quantify. But it is something that equates to about 15billion pounds a year of food that we are just throwing away. So To Good To Go is a solution to resolve and ensure that food produced becomes food consumed.”
